ORS carried out a comprehensive roof restoration project at Tool Station in Oxford. The roof underwent a thorough clean-down, encompassing all areas, including parapet details, pressed metal trims, roof sheets, gutters, flashings, and more. This meticulous cleaning process ensured a fresh and pristine appearance.
As part of the restoration, any damaged finishes on the roof sheets were repaired and made to match the existing surface, seamlessly blending with the surrounding areas.

To maintain proper drainage and prevent potential issues, vegetation debris was cleared from all valley gutters and round uPVC gutters. This proactive step helped optimize the roof’s performance and longevity.

To protect the metal surfaces from rust and corrosion, a rust inhibitor and a high-quality metal paint finish were applied, following industry best practices. This application provided a durable protective layer, safeguarding the roof against the elements.

Redundant fixing holes in the cladding were skilfully filled, ensuring a secure and uniform appearance. Great care was taken to match the colour of the existing cladding, maintaining the overall aesthetic harmony of the building.

To prepare the cladding surfaces for coating, a meticulous cleaning process was undertaken, removing dust, oil, grease, and other contaminants. The surfaces were then treated with a steel seal primer, promoting optimal adhesion. Finally, the profiled cladding was coated using a spray-applied method with Steelseal, a trusted product known for its reliability and longevity.
