The Place in Milton Keynes underwent a phased complete external refurbishment to revitalize this bustling retail park. The project presented unique challenges due to the complex cladding system, which had been in place for over 30 years, showing signs of chalking, extensive damage, and wear.

The first step in the refurbishment process was a thorough cleaning of all areas, followed by meticulous filling and making good of any imperfections. This attention to detail ensured a smooth and flawless surface for the subsequent painting process.

To guarantee long-lasting results, all surfaces were primed with a high-quality 2k epoxy primer, providing excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance. This was followed by a top coat of 2k acrylic paint, chosen for its durability, colour retention, and weather resistance. The application of these advanced coating systems not only enhanced the aesthetics but also provided protection against the elements, ensuring the longevity of the refurbishment.
